Tour Plan
Arrive in Srinagar and proceed for a scenic drive into the city. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens — Cheshma Shahi, Shalimar, and Nishat Bagh — each showcasing the region’s timeless beauty. Later, explore the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of Srinagar. In the evening, enjoy a serene overnight stay in a traditional houseboat.
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Sonmarg (87 km, approx. 3 hours) situated at an altitude of 2,800 meters. Discover the charm of the Golden Meadow, the Sind River, and the surrounding mountains and glaciers. For a more adventurous experience, you can opt for a pony ride or cab ride to Thajiwas Glacier or Zero Point (optional). Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive to Gulmarg via Tangmarg (56 km). On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, explore the picturesque town of Gulmarg, famous for its ski resort, lush golf course, and breathtaking landscapes. You may also enjoy an optional Gondola cable car ride (on direct payment). After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (95 km), nestled at an altitude of 2,400 meters. En route, visit the historic Avantipur Ruins, home to an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On arrival in Pahalgam, soak in the beauty of its alpine peaks and the pristine waters of the Lidder and Sheshnag Rivers. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the scenic gems of Pahalgam. Visit Baisaran, popularly known as the “Mini Switzerland of Kashmir,” along with the stunning Betab Valley and Chandanwari (visits at your own cost). These spots can be accessed by hiring a local cab or enjoying a pony ride (direct payment). Return for an overnight stay at your hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar and begin your city exploration. Visit the revered Hazratbal Shrine, the hilltop Shankaracharya Temple, the historic Jamia Masjid, and the beautiful Pari Mahal. In the evening, enjoy a serene one-hour Shikara ride on the tranquil waters of Dal Lake. Return for an overnight stay at your hotel in Srinagar.
